Ingredients

300g fresh udon noodles

2 tablespoons chili oil

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 green onion, sliced

1/2 cup bean sprouts (optional)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Fresh cilantro leaves (for garnish)

Salt to taste

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the udon noodles and cook according to package instructions (usually around 3-4 minutes for fresh noodles). Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chili oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Mix well until fully combined.

Combine Noodles and Sauce: Add the cooked udon noodles to the bowl with the sauce. Toss well to ensure all the noodles are evenly coated.

Add Vegetables: If using, stir in the bean sprouts and sliced green onions. Toss again to combine, allowing the flavor to soak into the vegetables.

Taste and Adjust: Season with salt according to your preference.

Serve: Divide the chili oil udon noodles among plates, garnishing with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro for a pop of color and flavor.

Enjoy: Serve immediately while hot, or pack in a lunch for a delicious meal on the go!
