Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

Ingredients
  

2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup spinach leaves, fresh

½ cup cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

4 large flour tortillas

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

    Cook the Chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing into thin strips.

      Make the Garlic Spread: In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic with the softened cream cheese, mixing well until smooth.

        Assemble the Wraps: Lay out a tortilla on a clean surface. Spread a generous amount of the garlic-cream cheese mixture on the tortilla, then layer on fresh spinach, sliced chicken, and a portion of shredded mozzarella cheese.

          Fold the Wrap: Roll the tortilla tightly, tucking in the sides as you go to secure the filling.

            Cook the Wraps: In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet. Grill each wrap for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden and crispy, and the cheese has melted.

              Serve: Remove wraps from the pan, slice them in half, and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce!
