1 lb (450g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cornstarch

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 large eggs, beaten

Vegetable oil, for frying

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp rice vinegar

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

2 green onions, sliced, for garnish

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Dip the chicken pieces first into the egg, then coat them generously with the flour mixture. Shake off any excess.

    Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
