Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup ranch dressing

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 hamburger buns

Lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings

Optional: additional ranch dressing for serving

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties about 3/4 inch thick.

Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium heat. Lightly grease the grill grates or pan with cooking spray or oil.

Place the chicken patties on the grill or pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the patties are nicely browned.

While the burgers are cooking, you can toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden.

Once cooked, assemble the burgers by placing the chicken patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, and any additional toppings you desire. Drizzle with ranch dressing if you like.

Place the top half of the bun on the burgers and serve immediately.
