Ingredients

1 lb (450g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Juice of 1 lemon

Optional: Red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, combine chicken pieces with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, thyme, and oregano. Toss to coat and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Heat the Butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, taking care not to burn it.

Cook the Chicken: Add the marinated chicken pieces to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).

Add Lemon Juice: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken bites in the last minute of cooking, stirring to combine and add a bright flavor.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove from heat. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley and optional red pepper flakes on top for a bit of spice. Serve hot as an appetizer or over rice or salad as a main dish.
