Ingredients

200g flat rice noodles

250g beef sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain

3 tablespoons hoisin sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, grated

1 red bell pepper, julienned

1 carrot, julienned

2 green onions, sliced

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Sesame seeds for garnish

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the noodles: Cook the flat rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside.

Marinate the beef: In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef with hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Stir well to coat and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cook the beef: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Stir-fry vegetables: In the same skillet, add sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then add the bell pepper and carrot. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Combine everything: Add the cooked noodles and beef back to the skillet. Toss everything together to combine, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until heated through.

Garnish and serve: Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro. Serve hot and enjoy!
