Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

1 pound ground beef (or a mix of ground beef and ground pork)

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, grated

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)

1 egg, lightly beaten

Cooking oil (for frying)

For the Spicy Mayo Dip:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Meatball Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef (or your meat choice), breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, black pepper, gochujang, and the beaten egg. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Shape the Meatballs: Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of cooking oil. While the skillet heats up, use your hands to form the meat mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

Cook the Meatballs: In the preheated skillet, add the meatballs in batches (do not overcrowd) and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides and cooked through. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Make the Spicy Mayo Dip: While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the dip. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, rice vinegar, and soy sauce until smooth. Adjust the spice level by adding more sriracha if desired.

Serve: Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them drain on a paper towel if necessary. Serve hot with the spicy mayo dip on the side. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for extra flair.
